With the youngest starting lineup in the country, most of the Lady Raiders aren’t sure what to expect.
“We aren’t exactly sure what all this means,” said Sarah Dvorak, one of four Texas Tech freshmen who have yet to play in the NCAAs. “We’re brand new to it. (Texas Tech coach Todd Petty) just tells us to play our hearts out and do our best.”
However, it helps that Texas Tech is hosting the first and second rounds of the Championships this weekend, taking on New Mexico State at 5 p.m. Friday, while LSU faces New Mexico at 2 p.m.
